St. Clare’s Class (Year 5)
Welcome back Year 5! Summer has finally arrived! With the temperatures rising please make sure you are bringing in a bottle of water to school-also a raincoat for those summery downpours would be very useful too!
As we start our last term in Year 5, let me take this opportunity to say how proud I am of you all for working so hard this year-it really has made a big difference!
In term 6 we have Sports day to look forward to, ‘Picnic and Praise’ at Aylesford Priory and our Summer Fayre amongst many other exciting things!
Our new Power of Reading book has arrived-Varmints, which I’m looking forward to exploring with you-what do you think a Varmint is?
In Maths we will be exploring properties of shapes/angles/measurements and converting between different units.
We will be also carrying out our end of Year 5 assessments in all areas and reports will be sent out at the end of term.
