St. Joseph's Class (Year R)

Welcome!

Mission Statement

We will always be kind and help each other

We will take care of God’s world.

Welcome Back

Welcome to Term 5!

Now that Easter is over, we will be looking at what happened to Jesus after he rose from the dead and we will be sharing stories of Jesus appearing to Mary Magdalene, as well as his ascension to be with His Father in heaven.

This term our topic is ‘Mischief and Mayhem!’ We will be basing our learning around one of Julia Donaldson’s classics; ‘What the lady bird heard.’ We will have lots lists to write and plans to draw to catch those baddies!

Within our growing topic we will be learning lots more about nature; not only ladybirds, and wild flowers, but also watching our caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies!

Please have a look at our curriculum over view for more details on this terms learning and our class dojo for any messages. Don’t forget to check our twitter too!

I can’t wait for the term ahead and to share all of our fabulous learning with you!

As always, our door is always open!
