Hello Year 2,

 I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing Christmas break and I would like to wish you and your families a very Happy New Year. I’m ever so excited to welcome you all back and introduce some very exciting topics we will be studying this term. To see what we will be learning, please see the curriculum overview which is also posted on the school website.

Year 2 will continue to have PE on a Thursday. Please make sure your child has the appropriate PE kit with them on this day, bearing in mind it may be cold when we are outside. Year 2 will also continue to have Forest School on a Friday so please ensure they also have the appropriate kit for this. Hats, gloves and scarves are essential at this time of year to ensure everyone is comfortable and able to learn and enjoy. Please also remember to bring in water bottles daily and to have your reading books and journals in the books bags daily - these will be changed on Thursdays.

Don’t forget to keep a close eye on Class Dojo for homework and any updates that may occur.
