ST. SIMON STOCK CLASS (YEAR 3)

Welcome!

Mission Statement

In St Simon Stock class, our mission is to be a kind and loving class.

We hope to show forgiveness to others and help others.

We will tell the truth and be responsible with our classroom.

We will be resilient learners who do not give up and have confidence in ourselves.

Welcome back Year 3 to Term 2! Miss Howell and I hope you had a lovely rest with your family and friends and are refreshed ready to learn lots of exciting new things! We are so proud of you and how ell you have settled into the juniors.

Remember to bring a nice warm PE kit this term as we will be going out in all weathers! Our PE days remain the same-Wednesdays and Fridays. We also visit our school library on Wednesdays so please remember to bring back your library book on Wednesdays if you want it changed. Spelling Tests and Times Table tests are still on Thursdays and homework is still due in on Fridays. This is a really exciting term and I can’t wait to read one of my favourite books-The Iron Man with you.

Class Information:

· P.E. will be on a Wednesday and Thursday.

· Spellings and Timestables will be tested on a Thursday.

Homework

Homework is set on a Friday through the Class Dojo website and should be completed by the following Friday morning.

A quick reminder that I am unable to reply to messages or comments through the Class Dojo website and that any queries regarding homework should be sent through the office.

Homework Expectations:

- Reading their school book a minimum of 3 times a week to an adult

- Spelling Practice

- Mathletics

- Timestable Rock Stars
