Mission Statement

In St Simon Stock class, our mission is to be a kind and loving class.

We hope to show forgiveness to others and help others.

We will tell the truth and be responsible with our classroom.

We will be resilient learners who do not give up and have confidence in ourselves.

Welcome back Year 3 to Term 6!

I can’t believe this is our last term! You have grown and matured so much this year; we are so proud of you all! The Curriculum Overview for the term can be accessed from the school’s website, so you can see what exciting learning you have coming up!

Just a reminder to please bring in water bottles with fresh water each day as the weather starts to warm up. Also, please remember your P.E kits, Reading Diaries, Spelling books and pencil cases ready to learn.

Exciting up-coming dates:

Wednesday 18^th June 2025 – Year 3’s School Trip to Brogdale Farm

Wednesday 2^nd July 2025 – Year 3’s Trip to the Primary School Orchestral Concert at the Central Theatre Chatham

Class Information:

·         P.E. will be on a Wednesday and Thursday.  

·         Spellings and Timestables will be tested on a Thursday.

Homework

Homework is set on a Friday through the Class Dojo website and should be completed by the following Friday morning.

A quick reminder that I am unable to reply to messages or comments through the Class Dojo website and that any queries regarding homework should be sent through the office.

Homework Expectations:

-          Reading their school book a minimum of 3 times a week to an adult

-          Spelling Practice

-          Mathletics

-          Timestable Rock Stars
